Buying a dump trailer: what to check

A trailer is bought on its rating and its hitch. Check the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) against what you plan to carry, and make sure your tow vehicle is rated for the loaded weight. Confirm the coupler type, bumper pull or gooseneck, and that the brakes meet your state’s rules at that weight. Look at the deck length and width, the ramps or rear door, the tie-down points, the tires and spare, and the lights and wiring connector. Ask us for the VIN and title details before you buy so you can plan registration in your state.

Convex Containers is based in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, in the Tulsa area, and sells shipping containers, refrigerated containers, container pools, portable cabins, flat pack buildings and trailers to buyers across the United States. If you are comparing this Cargo Pro Dump Trailer with other options, call us and we will tell you plainly whether it suits the job you have in mind.

How a Cargo Pro Dump Trailer order works

Place the order online or by phone. We confirm stock, send payment details by email and, once payment clears, book the delivery and call you with a date. On the day, the driver sets the unit down where you have chosen, so be sure of the position before it comes off the truck. Check it over before the driver leaves and call us straight away if anything does not match the listing. That is all there is to it, and most customers have their Cargo Pro Dump Trailer in place within three weeks of ordering.

Every listing on this site shows the price with delivery already included, so the figure you see is the figure you pay, with sales tax only where it applies. If you need more than one unit, a different size or a modification, ask before you order and we will quote the whole job together.
